, who should have gotten an Oscar for her performance here. actually, the acting all around is exceptional, and for once, you actually LIKE the characters, which makes it all the more brutal when they get brutally killed in ways of extreme brutality. the story is routine - troubled sorority pledge haunted by dreams, hell week, escaped madman, trapped in mall, etc. but the amount of effort put into the gore and a climax that is edge of your seat suspenseful, a as well as one of the greatest twists in the history of film, make this anything but conventional. seek this out, as you will not be disappointed, and that ending freaking rules!
